Mount Trashmore is located in the heart of Virginia Beach. The mountain is made up of trash and it is partly circled by lakes. It has skateboard park, lakes, playgrounds, landform, wildlife, and more. It is ideal for picnic, jogging, exercising, barbequing, relaxing, and even smelling the fresh air of Virginia Beach.
Pros:
1. A combination of lakes, a mini mountain, and trees is equal to a perfect relaxing place.
2. Good place to exercise (jogging, biking, walking, etc).
3. Nice place for picknick or gathering.
4. Portable carnival on some occasions.
5. Skateboard place for all ages.
Cons:
1. No lights, that's why it's close after dark.
2. Boating on the lake is prohibited.
Parking Area:
Parking areas are free. If all parking areas are packed, you can park across the street.
Restrooms:
There are at least three public restrooms in the area. Only two are mostly open all the time. One is near the park office and cottage area and the other one is near the skateboard and playground area.
